Overview:
Designed by Tom Fazio and opened 2000, this exclusive private golf club was built on the Santa Lucia Preserve, formerly known as Rancho San Carlos. Located on the southern ridge of Carmel Valley, the course reflects the contours of the natural terrain that surrounds it. A limited membership ensures light traffic guests must be accompanied by a member to play the golf course.

The two-story Locker Room building reprises the “Old Monterey” colonial style and its New England influences. The warm, inward-focused Lounge/Bar and lantern-like Grille room are quite brilliant.The club provides a driving range and a golf pro and a fully serviced bar.

The 18-hole “Preserve” course at the The Preserve Golf Club facility in Carmel, California features 7,067 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 74.3 and it has a slope rating of 142 on Bent grass.
